:The Ugly Stepsister (2025)
Synopsis: In this twisted body-horror reimagining of the classic Cinderella tale, Elvira (Lea Myren), a plain teenager, undergoes extreme measures—including painful cosmetic surgeries and ingesting a tapeworm—to outshine her beautiful stepsister, Agnes (Thea Sofie Loch Næss), and win the affection of Prince Julian (Isac Calmroth). Set in 18th-century Europe, the film critiques societal beauty standards through its grotesque and satirical narrative. 5
